There are many reasons to give blood. I do it because it saves lives - someone's kid, parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, friend, whatever. It saves human lives, and it doesn't even take that much time or effort on the donor's part. Now, if you're not as sentimental as I am, then consider the points program and the on-site pampering. Although drinks and snacks are always available for you after your donation, depending on how much you give or if you're giving platelets, you get served cold drinks and snacks while you recline and watch a movie or TV show. My wife only does that sort of thing for me when I'm deathly ill!
Obviously, it doesn't cost anything to enroll in their points program, but the more you donate, the more free stuff you can get. Cool stuff like mugs, blankets, MP3 players and even pearl necklaces (or you can donate those points right back to the blood bank and help keep them funded)!
Who says good deeds are always punished?
So no matter your reason, give blood and give blood
often because there are people who need your help, and one day you or
someone you care about might be one of them.

THE GREEN INITIATIVE
Red Tie Products, in appreciation of the world's natural splendor, supports companies like Gildan and econscious that, together, respect not only the environment by keeping millions of pounds of chemicals from seeping into the water table, but also respecting the rights of human beings in developing countries by not exploiting children or forcing labor. Furthermore, Red Tie Products also participates in its community recycling program, which helps fund the city of Pittsburgh, reduce the cost of oil/gasoline, and is generally groovy for the environment and the economy.
As Red Tie Products grows and becomes more capable, we will more fully embrace the Green Initiative by offering organic t-shirts using organic inks.
